Today the foucs of medicine is an specialization
and even super - serializations within specialist areas.
Thus climbing the ladder of success is more complicated
and arduous then even before. But the positive aspect
is that the opportunities for medical aspirants have multiplied
. The diagnosis and treatments that was earlier handled
singly by the general practitioner is today divided amongst
a posses of specialists and with better results. Thus,
specialization is inevitable for the medical students
who seeks to carve a niche for himself in this profession.
Job Scope : Employment opportunities
exist in hospitals, nursing homes, polyclinics, health
centers, Medical Colleges and Research Instruction. These
is also scope for self employment .
Training Programme : Training in medicine beings
after successful completion of 10 +2/ equivalent in Physics
/ Chemistry and Biology . There are Medical Entrance
Examinations conducted on an All India basis as well
as statewise for seats in the Medicinal College. The test
is based on 12th standards syllabus. The chennai Board
of Secondary Examination, Delhi conducts an All India
Pre Medical /Pre Dental Entrance Exam. For admission to
15% of the total seats Governments,. Municipal and local
bodies in India except about the examination can be got
form : All India Pre -Medical / Pre - Medical / Pre Dental
Entrance Examination Unit,CBSE, 17- B, IP Estate, New
Delhi - 110 002.
The states also conduct their own
Pre Medical Entrance Examination for
domiciled candidates. These examinations are announced
in January and conducted in March April.
There are also some national level institute where
admission dose not hinge on domicile status . These
institutions admit candidates thought an All
India Entrance Test. |
